Ranking The Caribbean: Regional Competitiveness in Renewables
Featuring the CREF/Castalia 2013 Renewable Island Index, the annual ranking of the Caribbean based on investability in RE, this session will assess progress towards energy diversification over the past 12 months. This analysis will be matched against the Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy, a baseline assessment of CARICOM member states’ and strategic action for the shot-, medium- and long-term for implementing targets for sustainable energy solutions. The session will present investors with a clear view of which jurisdictions are moving aggressively to develop RE, and will provide governments with tools and insights to drive the flow of investment into renewable projects.
