State of the World 2012 German Launch

Worldwatch Senior Researcher Michael Renner will be in Germany to launch State of the World 2012: Moving Toward Sustainable Prosperity. Along with meetings with various political and civil society groups, he will attend the following events organized by long-time Worldwatch partners Germanwatch and the Heinrich Böll Foundation:

Tuesday, May 15 - Berlin

• 10:00 am - Press conference at the federal government's press conference center, with German Minister for Education and Research Annette Schavan and leader of the Green Party parliamentary faction Renate Künast
• 7:00 pm - Launch at the Heinrich Boell Foundation with HBF leaders Ralf Fücks and Barbara Unmüßig, and chair of the board of Germanwatch, Klaus Milke

Wednesday, May 16 - Hamburg

• 6:30 pm - "Are We in Hamburg on the Way to a Green and Fair Economy?" at Handwerkskammer Hamburg, moderated by Klaus Milke
