About LEDS Global Partnership The Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS) Global Partnership (GP) was founded in 2011 to enhance coordination, information exchange, and cooperation among countries and international programs working to advance low-emissions, climate-resilient growth. The LEDS GP currently brings together LEDS leaders and practitioners from more than 120 countries and international institutions through innovative peer learning and collaboration forums and networks. The Asia LEDS Partnership is a regional network comprising individuals and organizations from the public, private, and non-governmental sectors active in designing, promoting, and implementing LEDS in Asia. The Partnership aims to advance the development of national-level and country-led strategic plans to promote economic growth while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the Asia region. The Energy Working Group (EWG) is an energy sector network of country governments, multilateral institutions, individuals, and non-governmental organizations involved in activities to support the development and implementation of low-emissions energy strategies. The EWG seeks to facilitate international coordination and collaboration among countries in successfully developing low-emissions, climate-resilient energy strategies through an exchange of information, best practices, and advisory services. |
