Directions to the Worldwatch Institute

BY SUBWAY

In the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, take the Metro "Red Line" train to the Dupont Circle stop. Exit Metro in the direction of Dupont South, at 19th Street. At the top of the escalators, turn 180 degrees and walk toward the traffic circle (Dupont Circle). Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue, passing the SunTrust Bank on the corner. Worldwatch is located at 1776 Massachusetts Ave, a block-and-a-half down the street on the right-hand side, past 18th Street. Our offices are on the 8th floor.

BY CAR

From the North: Take I-95 south toward Washington, D.C. Exit onto I-495 (the Capital Beltway) and head west toward Bethesda/Silver Spring. From the Beltway, take Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue) and head south toward Washington. Turn left on S Street, just past the Washington Hilton hotel. Turn right on 18th Street. Turn left on Massachusetts Avenue. Worldwatch is located in the second building on the right, on the 8th floor of 1776 Massachusetts Ave.

From the South: Take I-95 north towards Washington, D.C. At the merger of I-95, I-495 (the Capital Beltway), and I-395, take I-395 north toward Washington. Follow signs to the 14th Street Bridge and cross over the bridge. Turn left on K Street. Take a right onto Connecticut Avenue. One and a half blocks past the Mayflower Hotel (on the right-hand side), bear right onto 18th Street. Turn right at the second traffic light onto Massachusetts Avenue. Worldwatch is located in the second building on the right, on the 8th floor of 1776 Massachusetts Ave.

From Northern Virginia and the West: Take Route 66 east to the Roosevelt Bridge and cross over the bridge. This road will turn into Constitution Avenue. Turn left onto 17th Street, which turns into Connecticut Avenue. One and a half blocks past the Mayflower Hotel (on the right-hand side), bear right onto 18th Street. Turn right at the second traffic light onto Massachusetts Avenue. Worldwatch is located in the second building on the right, on the 8th floor of 1776 Massachusetts Ave.

From Maryland I-295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway): Take I-295 southbound and exit at New York Avenue. Proceed along New York Avenue and turn right onto L Street. After a few blocks, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Worldwatch is located at 1776 Massachusetts Avenue, near the end of the block on the left-hand side, past 17th Street. Our offices are on the 8th floor.
