Molly O’Meara Sheehan
Senior Researcher and Project Director, State of the World 2007, New York, NY

Ms. Sheehan has studied urban environmental issues for much of the last decade. Her writing includes “Uniting Dividing Cities” in State of the World 2003, Reinventing Cities for People and the Planet, and articles in the International Herald Tribune, Washington Post, and other publications. In 2004 and 2005, while on leave from Worldwatch, she wrote investigative reports and op-eds on public schools for Eva Moskowitz, then Chair of the New York City Council Education Committee. She has an MS in Environmental Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Biology and Asian Studies from Williams College.
