Marcel Brenninkmeijer Joins Worldwatch Institute Board of Directors
Washington, D.C. -The Worldwatch Institute announced today that Marcel Brenninkmeijer, an accomplished investor specializing in clean energy technology, has been elected to its Board of Directors. Mr. Brenninkmeijer is the founder and Chairman of Good Energies, a strategic investment firm specializing in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Mr. Brenninkmeijer oversees long-term investments and development initiatives that support clean energy sources worldwide. Based in Switzerland, he is dedicated to addressing the world's climate crisis, while achieving success for investors.
"Marcel's experience in clean energy investment will be a great boon to Worldwatch and will enhance the Institute's ability to drive the transformation to a low-carbon economy," said Worldwatch President Christopher Flavin.

Prior to founding Good Energies, Mr. Brenninkmeijer was an advisor to Anthos Consult in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and spent a sabbatical year studying at IMD Business School in Switzerland and HBS in the United States. He spent the first two decades of his business career with C&A, an international fashion retailer. In 1989 he founded the C&A European Environmental Working Group.
