First "Climate-Friendly" Labels Appear on Foods

Worldwatch Senior Researcher Danielle Nierenberg Recently spoke to New Scientist about a "climate-friendly" food labeling scheme set to launch in Sweden. Proponents believe the system will encourage consumer to by greener products, but Nierenberg warns that a dearth of reliable data surrounding food-based emissions could lead to green washing.
