About the Event
Natural gas and renewable energy both offer low-carbon alternatives to the coal-fired power plants that dominate U.S. electricity supplies. However, in many parts of the country, these rapidly growing energy sources have found themselves fighting for market share and losing the battle for clean energy. This event will explore potential synergies between gas and renewables-as well as policies that will promote the transition to low-carbon energy.

The Dirksen Senate building is located northeast of the Capitol on a site, bound by Constitution Avenue, C Street, First Street, and Second Street N.E.
