Amanda is the MAP Sustainable Energy Fellow at Worldwatch Institute. Her main research areas are energy and climate change as part of the greater scheme of sustainable development.

Before joining Worldwatch, she served as an intern with the U.S. Department of State's Office of Environmental Policy, where she delved into international water resource issues. She also has experience inventorying greenhouse gas emissions with the City of Palo Alto Utilities, California and examining the potential uses of satellite technology for agricultural practices while with the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) in Muencheberg, Germany.

Amanda earned her M.S. and B.S. in Earth Systems with a focus in environmental science and energy policy from Stanford University.
