Amanda is the Project Associate with the Climate & Energy Program at the Worldwatch Institute.  Her research areas include renewable power and heating, energy efficiency, climate change, and sustainable development.

Prior to joining Worldwatch in 2008 as the Sustainable Energy Fellow, she served as an intern with the U.S. Department of State's Office of Environmental Policy, where she delved into international water resource issues. She also has experience inventorying greenhouse gas emissions with the City of Palo Alto Utilities, California and examining the potential uses of satellite technology for agricultural practices while with the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) in Muencheberg, Germany.

Amanda earned her B.S. and M.S. in Earth Systems with a focus in environmental science and energy policy from Stanford University.
