Supriya Kumar, Interim Communications Manager

Supriya Kumar is currently the Interim Communications Manager at Worldwatch where she helps with the Institute’s media outreach, press relations, online communication, and other communication tasks.

She previously served as a Research Fellow with Worldwatch’s Nourishing the Planet project on State of the World 2011: Innovations that Nourish the Planet. Supriya brings her skills and her experience working on development and environmental issues to her research and writing for Worldwatch. She has a BA in International Relations and a minor in Economics from American University where she concentrated in International Development.
