Christoph von Friedeburg, Research Fellow, Climate and Energy Program
Christoph von Friedeburg joined Worldwatch's Climate and Energy Team in July 2013. His work centers on transatlantic collaboration and projects, with a special focus on climate and energy policy in the United States and the European Union. Before joining Worldwatch, Christoph worked in editorial management capacities for several international publishers, with an emphasis on book and journal programs on energy and environment. He earned a diploma degree in physics, including renewable energy, and a doctorate in atmospheric physics and chemistry from the University of Heidelberg. During his studies, Christoph received support from the German National Scholarship Foundation and represented the student body in key university committees. He has published several research papers on remote sensing of air pollutants.
