Christoph von Friedeburg, Research Fellow, Climate and Energy Program
Christoph von Friedeburg joined Worldwatch's Climate and Energy Team in July 2013. His work centers on transatlantic collaboration and projects, with a special focus on climate and energy policy in the United States and the European Union. As of April 2015, he also serves as Senior Commissionig Editor for the topics of energy and transportation at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). Before joining Worldwatch, Christoph worked in editorial management capacities for several international publishers, with an emphasis on book and journal content on energy and the environment. He earned a diploma degree in physics and a doctorate in atmospheric physics and chemistry. During his studies at the University of Heidelberg and University College London, Christoph received support from the German National Scholarship Foundation and represented the student body in university committees. Besides his writings for Worldwatch, he has published several academic research papers on remote sensing of air pollutants.
